FilamentNylonPolyHayne-Surridge is proud to offer A&E’s Anefil line of twisted filament sewing thread. The Anefil line is available in both nylon and polyester fibers. This type of thread is produced from continuous filaments of polyester or nylon that have been twisted together and plied to hold the fibers together. These products are available in a soft finish or bonded finish for better abrasion resistance and better ply security. The thread is treated with a high performance lubricant to ensure sewablity on heavy duty sewing applications such as canvas, leather goods and strapping. For applications requiring excellent abrasion resistance, Anefil Nylon is generally preferred. Anefil Polyester is generally used in outdoor applications and where chemical resistance are the primary considerations. Both Anefil Nylon and Anefil Polyester offer excellent seam strength. Both products are available in many sizes and are also available in precision wound bobbins.

We also offer A&E’s Anecord line of monocord sewing thread. Anecord is produced from continuous filaments of nylon or polyester that have been slightly twisted and then bonded together. It also receives high performance lubricant to ensure sewability. Seams produced with Anecord are very flat and low profile due to the ribbon like non twisted construction.
